FAQ for Realtors
What is the best way to prepare a home for photos?
Making sure the home is as prepared as possible for photos makes a world of difference. It allows us to spend less time cleaning, reorganizing and waiting and more time on what we do best - photography!
Less is more - Decluttering is one of the best ways to help a home look inviting, clean, big and bright.
Cleaning - this may sound obvious but giving your listing a good once-over will, in turn, bring the photos to life.
Staging - Having a home professionally staged allows for potential buyers to envision themselves in the home as well as allowing them to see how each space works with actual furniture.
How many photos will I receive?
This is a question that comes up a lot. The answer? However many photos it takes to accurately
represent the listing.
What does that mean? Well, every home is different. Some are single family houses with front and backyards. Some are condos with no yards at all. On average, a 1500-2000 sq ft single-family home will allow us to create around 25-30 photos.
How long will it take me to receive my photos?
The next day if only photos are ordered.
If three or more services are ordered or a full package, 48 hours is our lead-time. We still do our absolute best to have everything to you by the next day and, although we guarantee two days, next-day delivery still happens the majority of the time.
How will I receive my photos, video, virtual tour, floor plan, etc?
Photos and floor plans will be delivered via a download link with options to download both high resolution for print and low resolution for quick and easy upload to the MLS.
Videos will be delivered in HD via Dropbox.
Virtual tours will be delivered via email with links directly to the virtual tour, which we host.
Do I, the agent, own the photos?
This is a great question and one that gets asked a lot. I, Dan Solomon, own all rights to the photos and am selling you, the agent, a license to use them for your current listing only.
These photos can not be given or sold to anyone else, even the new or previous homeowner.
All of the terms and conditions are included in the download link you are emailed and by downloading the photos, you are agreeing to them.
